With a solid experience in university teaching and executive training, she carries out research at national and international level in the field of the economics of financial intermediaries. She is Full Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the University of Naples Federico II, where she has been part of the teaching staff for over 30 years.

During her career she has held numerous important positions in the finance and social security sectors. She was President of the Board of Auditors of several banking institutions and was a member of Supervisory Committees for banks in Extraordinary Administration. For three consecutive terms she chaired the board of directors of the Pension Fund for Teaching, Technical and Administrative Staff of the University of Naples Federico II and the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.

She is currently a member of the board of directors of MEFOP S.p.A., a company owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, active in promoting social security culture and enhancing pension funds.

Graduated in Economics and Commerce at the University of Naples Federico II, she obtained the qualification to practice as a Chartered Accountant, completing her training with a PhD in Business Economics and a Master in Banking and Finance at the University College of North Wales (UK).

He has been working in the financial sector for over 40 years and holds positions on the Boards of Directors of various companies active in the industrial and digital sectors.

He began his career as a Stockbroker, subsequently taking on roles in the governing bodies of the Rome Stock Exchange. In 1991 he founded and was CEO of Borsaconsult SIM, which established itself as the leading securities brokerage firm in Southern Italy.

In 2001 he founded and was CEO of Vertis SpA, exclusive advisor to Interbanca Gestione Investimenti SGR for the management of the closed-end fund Interbanca Investimenti Sud. In 2007 he promoted the creation of Vertis SGR, an asset management company specializing in closed-end funds, of which he has been CEO since its foundation.

In parallel with his professional activity, he has carried out academic activities for about 18 years as a teacher of Stock Market Techniques, Economics of Financial Intermediaries and Economics and Techniques of Financial Markets at the Universities of Sannio and Federico II of Naples.

For two years he has been a teacher of Corporate & Investment Banking at the University of Bari Aldo Moro.

Three years ago he founded UniVertis, a school of operational finance, a benefit company, which established the first and only Master in Italy for Financial Analysts of venture capital and private equity.

He is a member of the Board of Directors and President of the Venture Capital Commission of AIFI (Italian Association of Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt), a member of the Board of Directors of AIAF (Italian Association for Financial Analysis), as well as President of the Extraordinary Finance, Private Equity and Venture Capital Commission of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Naples.

He graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Naples Federico II and is registered in the Register of Chartered Accountants and the Register of Legal Auditors.

He has been working in the financial sector for over 30 years and is currently a member of the board of directors of several companies active in the industrial and service sectors.

He began his career as a stockbroker at a stockbroker firm of the Naples Stock Exchange.

Subsequently, and until 1999, he held management and advisory positions in Macrofit SIM and subsequently in Borsaconsult SIM. In those years he was also a member of numerous technical committees of Assosim (Associazione Intermediari Mobiliari), actively contributing to the development of the financial intermediation sector.

Before co-founding Vertis SGR in March 2007, Renato served as Chairman of the Scouting Committee of Vertis SpA, exclusive advisor to Interbanca Gestione Investimenti SGR for the management of the closed-end fund “Interbanca Investimenti Sud”, with responsibility for identifying the best investment opportunities.

An expert in corporate governance, internal control systems and strategic planning, he has over 15 years of experience in management roles at leading companies such as Eni, Generali and UniCredit.

Since 2009, he has served as a board member and statutory auditor in private and publicly-controlled companies. He is also a member of Supervisory Bodies and responsible for compliance, risk management and internal audit functions in listed, financial and insurance companies.

Before taking up his current role in May 2025, Sergio held the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and then Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors in Vertis. Appointed by the Ministry of Economic Development, he also served as a judicial commissioner in extraordinary administration procedures.

Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome La Sapienza, he is a chartered accountant, statutory auditor and inspector of the Italian Football Federation.

He is an entrepreneur and a member of the board of directors of several companies operating in the industrial and service sectors, almost all of which are part of the family business group. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked within the Group, which is made up of approximately thirty subsidiaries and affiliates, operating in diversified businesses. This path has allowed him to gain solid experience and transversal skills in numerous areas, including construction and real estate development, recreational boating, hospitality and catering.

Giancarlo is currently Director of the holding company Dielle, President of Ingg. Loy Donà and Brancaccio LDB (construction sector), Sinergie Immobiliari (real estate development) and Drav (catering). He also holds the role of CEO of Fiart Cantieri Italiani (real estate management) and Fiart Mare (recreational boating). He is also a member of the administrative bodies of numerous companies associated with the Group and holds associative positions within ANCE (National Association of Building Contractors).

From 2008 to 2021 he was a member of the board of directors of Vertis, a role in which he was reconfirmed from 2022 onwards.

He graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Naples Federico II and is qualified to practice as a chartered accountant and statutory auditor.

He has over 14 years of experience in the management consulting, private equity and venture capital sectors, also serving as a board member in various companies operating in the industrial and service sectors.

He is currently a member of the board of directors of the SGR and of the Investment Committee of the funds “Vertis Venture 6 Digital Sud” and “Vertis Venture 7 Digital Puglia”. Previously, he was a member of the investment team of venture capital funds focused on the scaleup phase and private equity funds, following investment operations, strategic development of investee companies and portfolio management.

Before joining Vertis, he worked for Ernst & Young, in the Transaction Advisory Services division, and for L.E.K. Consulting, prestigious international consulting firms, supporting leading private equity funds in due diligence activities, strategic assessments and investment decisions in multiple sectors.

He also worked for BlueGem Capital Partners, a leading private equity fund based in London.

He graduated in Business Economics from the University of Naples Federico II and is qualified to practice as a chartered accountant and statutory auditor.

She has twenty years of experience as a chartered accountant and auditor, having always provided tax, corporate and accounting consultancy for medium and large companies at Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, where she holds the role of Partner.

Previously, Monica gained most of her experience at Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, specializing in tax and corporate consultancy. She also worked at PwC as an Auditor, supporting companies operating in various sectors.

Monica graduated in Economics and Business from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome.

He has over 35 years of experience in auditing and accounting organization and is a member of the board of directors of several companies operating in the industrial and service sectors.

Aurelio has taught Business Economics at the University of Naples Federico II, the University of Naples “Parthenope” and LUISS in Rome, specializing in analysis, auditing and certification of financial statements.

Aurelio has been a member of the Board of Auditors of Vertis for 3 three-year terms and for over thirty years he has held the role of senior partner and head of the Center-South in the Audit area of PricewaterhouseCoopers, supporting financial companies, payment institutions and other entities in the financial, industrial and service sectors.

He graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Naples Federico II and is a chartered accountant and statutory auditor.

He has a solid experience as a chartered accountant and auditor, with a constant focus on audit, compliance and accounting organization for medium and large companies.

He currently holds the role of Partner in BDO Italia and previously gained experience in PricewaterhouseCoopers and Italaudit supporting companies operating in various sectors and banking groups.

During his career, Filippo has also taught and participated as a speaker in professional qualification courses in accounting, financial statements and auditing.

Filippo graduated in Economics and Business from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome.

Has about ten years of experience as a chartered accountant and business consultant and carries out consultancy activities for the internationalization of companies at Grimaldi Studio Legale.

Previously, Fabrizia worked for Studio Associato Pellone and for Tax & Advise, respectively carrying out activities related to corporate reorganizations and extraordinary transactions.

Fabrizia has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Naples Federico II and a Master in Corporate Finance and Banking from Il Sole 24 Ore – Business School. Fabrizia is also a chartered accountant and statutory auditor.
